This past year the U.S. Small Business Administration issued the third-highest volume of government-backed business loans nationally, exceeded only by the two previous years, according to Larry Conley, head of SBA lending for JP Morgan Chase.
Conley, who works out of Fort Worth, credits the SBA itself for much of the growth due to the work the agency has done toward streamlining the rules and requirements for lending, making it easier for lenders and borrowers alike.
